1. This posting gives the impression that I have been to Caherconlish in County Limerick, but I have never knowingly been there for any reason or purpose, and certainly not on retreat.

2. I am unaware of the use of external church property – whether lawful or otherwise – and certainly would not have reason to know of such.

3. I have never engaged in or with any act which is described in the posting as prostitution.

4. The impression is also given that I would have defecated in the confessional box of the Church which is totally scurrilous.

5. I have never had any reason to be in touch with the Gardaí or indeed with Fr O’Gorman.

6. It wishes to further portray me as having personal difficult issues, which is again, untrue.

1. The terms accorded to me such as The Wedding Priest, The Aids Priest, The Healing Priest, The Singing Priest and simply 'Papa Joe are incorrect and indeed have never been heretofore ascribed to me so yet again are without foundation.

2. I have never been in any way, shape or form, involved in any way whatsoever with the transferring of a convicted paedophile from any country to Ireland.

1. These coat of arms are indeed my personal coat of arms as granted to me and therefore my personal property, thus also copyrighted.

2. I am certainly not of a lack lustre history (a claim certainly contradicted by these blogspots alone).

3. I am not an oddity of character.

4. Nothing has been stolen from any office of ecclesiastical heraldry (which is not named therefore without foundation).

5. As for being embellished in career, yet again contradictory as well as being totally without foundation.

N.B. The responses to the pieces in this posting are a direct response to the comments in red writing:

1. Any information in relation to my ordination has been well documented in this Affidavit and with the accompanying certification to prove otherwise.

2. Fees quoted as being in the hundreds of Euros are totally without foundation and basis.

3. A Free Travel Pass was only provided to me by the Irish State in October 2010 due to my medical incapacity (degenerative disc disease) having been determined to be so serious as to warrant the issuing of such.

4. The Galway Advertiser article is yet again completely misinterpreted for the benefit of writing such untruths.

5. Yet again, I wish to categorically state that I have no involvement with ‘Clerical Whispers’

6. I have not been ever contacted by the authors of this ‘blogspot’ for comment and there is no evidence provided by the authors to categorically support such a claim.

7. The names signed to end are a translation of my name into Gaelic/Irish.

1. I have never engaged in extensive manipulation and fraud and certainly have not been the subject of legal proceedings against me.

2. I am a validly ordained Catholic priest and certainly have a licence (licentiate sacerdos) to partake in ANY religious ceremony.

3. I am not, never have been, and have no intention of being a member of the referred to ‘Gaydar.com’ website, Sunday, or any other day of the week.

4. In relation to my parents, my mother is still alive but my father is deceased since April 8th 1976. In relation to the comment referring to my being allegedly a ‘sociopath’ being attributed to my younger sister is unfounded and the source of great unease and upset for her and indeed my family as a whole.

5. Couples are more than aware of what they are availing of when we meet and discuss their ceremonial requirements whether via a wedding planner or website.

6. I am not promiscuous and certainly do my best to attain my commitment to my vow of celibacy.

7. I have not been claiming a disability allowance or payment from the Irish State for any amount of years.

8. I do have a back problem upon which I had some surgery after a wait of 3 and a half years, and which is due to undergo further surgery.

9. I do not charge between €500 - €800 per ceremony, and all expenses are accounted for and available for revenue inspection.

10. I do not have involvement at the writing of this Affidavit, in any parish.

11. My sexual life and preferences as outlined in this article are incorrect and without foundation.
